Mt. Sunapee State Park Beach

Mt. Sunapee State Park is located in Newbury, NH. The 4,085 acre lake at Mt. Sunapee State Park Beach is an ideal spot for family and group outings. A boat launch is available with some restrictions. Boat rentals are available. Situated about a mile from the beach, the campground offers lean-to and platform sites for family camping in a natural setting. Notice: Due to the popularity of Mount Sunapee State Park's beach area on nice weekends and holidays, the beach will most likely sell-out in the morning hours. Once the beach area reaches capacity additional beach goers cannot be admitted due to safety concerns. Admission is $5 for adults; $2 for children ages 6-11; children ages 5 and under and NH residents age 65 and over are admitted free. Season passes are available. View More


The Fells Historic Estate and Gardens

The Fells Historic Estate and Gardens on Lake Sunapee is one of New England’s finest examples of an early 20th century summer estate. Once the summer retreat of statesman John Milton Hay it is open to the public and features guided house tours, outstanding colorful gardens and woodland walking trails. Meet “The MooseMan”

Meet “The MooseMan” …Rick Libbey Rick has a unique approach to photographing wildlife; he shoots from a kayak using a mix of Nikon film and digital cameras. He has slowly built the MooseMan company and simply loves to share his adventures from the woods. Rick loves to work locally with other businesses and also has a strong recycling theme within the company. MooseMan resides on the board of director’s of Second Chance Wildlife, a facility dedicated to saving baby black bears that have lost their mothers. It is this work that Rick is passionate about as well as spreading the word about how to enjoy wildlife in a respectful manner.
